Green CAT Services is a full service energy efficiency company. We provide comprehensive residential and commercial energy audits and energy efficiency upgrade services for homeowners, small business owners, landlords, and renters.
What is an energy audit? Your home and/or business operates as a system, with all its individual components (i.e. windows, insulation, and heating and cooling systems) operating an overall level of efficiency or inefficiency depending on many factors. Before spending money replacing windows, getting a new furnace, or adding insulation, you should have your home assessed as a whole. After performing an energy assessment, Green CAT Services presents you with a detailed report with recommended upgrades. In addition, we will indicate health concerns. Full Combustion Appliance Zone (CAZ) testing is a required test with every comprehensive assessment.
Let your job help you out! The Home Energy Affordability Loan (HEAL) program is available for employees of several local companies. It all starts with an energy audit and then you get to pick out the energy improvements. There are also safety improvements you can implement.Click here for more details.
We had a great time at the Lee's Summit Sustainability Fair and ChiliFest. We signed up a few homeowners for the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program and talked to some great people about insulation and energy efficiency! Check out the pictures.
We are, once again, ENERGY STAR Century Club Winners. To receive the award, we used a whole-house approach to improve the energy performance of more than 100 homes in the past year and successfully fulfilled the requirements of their local Home Performance with ENERGY STAR programs. We are one of only 97 contractors in the United States and one of only 4 in our area to have received this award.
